Good afternoon

Does anyone here have any figures from Stonewall Figures, namely the 15mm range by Capitan Miniatures?

They look to have a huge range of great figures and I was wondering how compatible they are with AB Figures and Blue Moon??

Anyone got any comments?

Regards

J

See my reply on your other thread…

Does the other thread have a slightly different title? I only ask because I tried to start a thread about this and it told me it was published, but I couldn't see it, so I started this one…..

The only reply I can see is your reply here in both the Product Reviews message board and the Napoleonic Discussion message board…

Found it, no idea what happened with that. So in summary they are fairly compatible with AB

Which is good as they have a nice range of Spanish infantry to add some variety

J I bought some packs a few months ago they match very well to AB and Campaign game Miniatures nice figures but I was disappointed with the quality of the castings so wont be ordering again although would like to. Hard to beat AB and Campaign game Miniatures 2 great companies and great quality. Also there was a considerable delay in posting my figures I phoned the owner at Capitan Games who got Stonewall to get the figures posted which he did. I would advise you to read previous posts on this forum re Stonewall figures before you order. I personally wont buy anything from Stonewall but Capitan figure range are great. John

Thank you for your feedback, I have also looked at CGM do they fit in well with AB? I have heard they are a bit on the chunky side, so should be fine in their own units?

CGM figures look great with AB figures, especially if keeping them in separate units. That's what I did and I have no regrets. Both CGM and AB are great companies to work with. Both are very helpful and responsive. Also, take a look at Xan Miniatures. They mix well with AB, too. No Spanish, though.

It's a shame about Capitan. I bought some from EC and was very pleased. Later, I bought more direct from the manufacturer, and they were awful. The figures were poorly cast and the customer service was really poor. I won't deal with them again. YMMV.

Yes Campaign Game Miniatures are very compatible with AB as Ooh Rah says Dermot the owner is a great guy and very helpful and professional. Some say that the figures are a bit chunky i don't agree. they are well proportioned and beautifully cast. Top class. If you are in the UK id be happy to send you a sample i have a few spares you wont be disappointed cheers John.

Thats a very generous offer if you don't mind. Perhaps you can e-mail me.

My email address is the first four letters of my account name on here, followed by 220683.

This in turn is followed by a well known service which is provided by google.

Either com or co dot uk works fine
