I have one of these models, discovered in the back of a bin in the shed just recently. It's poorly painted. I mean, atrocious. However, its in good shape. I am stripping it. What would be a good modern paint scheme for it? Since the 1980's I've learned to paint and airbrush. I'm curious about what people think would be good in today's context. The photos from White Dwarf show equally awful paint jobs (lots of hotrod flames…), so those were of no interest. :-)

Still, I'd go classic on it, as thats the era its from. It would make a great display piece.

Other than that, you could do anything, I guess.

The scheme would depend on which craftworld the walker is from. I'm partial to the mottled blue/black camo pattern on Alaitoc vehicles.

If you don't have an Eldar army, you could always go to town on a Harlequin paint-job.
