Hey guys, I'm translating DBA3.0 into Chinese and the main rule parts are finished. How can I find Phil to ask for authorization if I want to publish it? I tried but i can't find any information to contact him. Thank you! Frank |

Hello Frank, Here is the WRG website. You might do well to contact Sue Barker about your work. link Her email address is located at the website. Regards, Robert |

Some one less kind than me would perhaps suggest an English translation first. Only joking, Phil Barker writes clear precise wordage. |

You might try and contact the guys from the Hong Kong Society of Wargamers. hksw.org I seem to remember someone has already done this. The guys from the HKSW might know if it is correct. Cheers, JohnG |

Frank, I look forward to seeing it published. Will it be in simplified or traditional Chinese characters? |

@ochoin I know HKSW has a translation but that was DBA2.2 and I don't have the full version of it. Seems they they just translated the rule parts |

@platypus01au: Thanks, surely I'll ask them. |

@Skeptic: simplified maybe, because I'm from mainland. But it's hard to say, you know, buying a ISBN in China is crazy expensive. If I have to publish the book in HK then it will be traditional. |

So there are real Chinese wargamers, historical? Nt just expats etc. ? I kno of Chinese made plastic minis so must be a market. What interests? Sure not mostly our history but their rich ancient and long one too? Good news and I 'd be interested to know. After all they are a bit more of them than…Swiss. |

@Frank Wang: Since 1997, have no publishers in HK made even a partial transition to publishing some works in simplified characters? What about dual simplified/traditional in one volume? |

@Skeptic: You mean one book with both simplified and traditional Chinese characters? Why? I think either is OK. I'm a native main land Chinese and lived in Macau for 8 years. I think everyone can read simplified and traditional Chinese. That's not a problem. |
