Game the War of Greek Independence?

Recently became interested in this struggle…

Plenty of British/French/Russian military intervention…

Turkish/Egyptian armies….

Western and Turkish uniforms…

If you do wargame this period, what rules/reference books do you use?

Looks like at least one miniature maker makes good 28's…

Thanks!

I have on the shelf a project to do so, but not underway yet.
The figures were by a fellow in Greece who sadly became ill and stopped production. (I suspect he has passed since that time.)
The figures are 15mm under the name Alphacast
They made:
- GWI Greeks
- GWI Turks
- GWI Egyptians
- GWI Albanians
- Balkan wars

They were carried by The Virtual Armchair General distributes Alphacast in the USA. Greek War of Independence (GWI) covered was in 1821-1829. The Balkan war are from just before the First World War in 1912-1913.

There was a rule set as well, I do not recall the name right now.
