…will be the subject of a Kickstarter campaign.

He mentions doing these in 20mm as well…which is a "shut u and take my money" situation for me. |

Those look very cool. If they were 28mm, I'd be in trouble. |

"shut up and take my money" that was. |

Ooh, very nice, probably the best hard sci-fi PA in 15mm I've yet seen? Only gripe is the weapons look a bit too big and I'd prefer the missile pack as back mounted for vertical launch, but that's a personal preference. |

With 15mm you need to scale up the weapons a little, assuming a game where you need to be able to tell the difference between weapons. |

If those don't convert some folks to 15mm… Wow! |

Very nice, but still no UK distributor… |
Lion in the Stars | 06 Jun 2018 9:12 a.m. PST |
No distributor, full stop, Frostie. Even folks in the US must order direct. Khurasan has said that he'd have to double prices to have a distributor, we are basically paying wholesale costs for his products. Granted, the US is spoiled by cheap postal rates. Spoiled to the point that Dream Pod 9 makes a weekly trip into the US to mail out packages to their US customers! Gotta look at the UPS/FedEx/DHL shipping rates to see where the break-point is for shipping. (I've looked at buying whiskey from the UK, it basically works out that shipping 6 bottles is no more expensive than 3 bottles). |

@Lion Granted, and they are PA troopers, who frankly should look like they are toting weapons that can level a house, but they are big… And even then I actually really like the design of the gun. They seem to have a cluster of sensors rather than a visor which is a nice touch I don't think I've seen on PA in 15mm before. Anyone know if there are any other options for the 'over the should weapon mount' than missiles? |

"…any other options for the 'over the should weapon mount' than missiles?" Not as yet but as the missile mount is a separate piece it shouldn't be too hard to make an alternative. Might be worth mentioning it to Khurasan as a stretch goal. |

Granted, and they are PA troopers, who frankly should look like they are toting weapons that can level a house It's power armor, why shouldn't they be packing a primary weapon that can level a house? The pistol-equivalent is the one that is for dealing with infantry! Anyone know if there are any other options for the 'over the should weapon mount' than missiles? What else would you put there? Sensors? |

PD laser, grenade launcher/mortar, big-ass support particle cannon or linear accelerator…. |
Lion in the Stars | 09 Jun 2018 4:07 p.m. PST |
Good call on the PD weapons. |

Last year sat down to write a hard'ish, well it does feature ultra-tech, sci-fi RPG featuring PA. Suit's feature PD lasers as standard – but then so are quad packs of guided missiles some of which pack AM sub-munitions. Arguably the emitter ought to be on top of the helmet rather than over the shoulder, but aesthetically…. |

The Eldraeverse Heavy Legionaires ( link ) have the target designator in the head and the PD systems on the shoulders. Plus swarmbot hives that typically provide recon, counter-swarm, anti-machinery, and antipersonnel effects. The grenade launcher is quite a bit more versatile than what we currently use, since the coilgun allows it to throw anything from "anti-materiel spikes, flechette canister shot, bore-compatible grenades, or gyroc micromissiles, the latter of which can include as their payload exploding shells, incendiaries and napalm, cryoburn shells, nanoweapons (if someone's set up a microwave power system for them), chemical/gas dispensers, cyberswarm dispensers, network node – or spy dust – dispensers, injector needles (at low power), restraint nanoglop, electroshock "stunner" shells, acid globs, anti-electronic fiberdust, mollynet, antimatter nuke-in-a-bullets, etc., etc. Naturally, the weapons pack can store plentiful supplies of multiple types, and switch between them on the fly. (One that they're particularly fond of is the infamous "backscratcher", which travels a short distance and then blasts flechettes back down at the firer, rattling harmlessly off the heavy armor but making a real mess out of any lighter infantry trying to attack it close up.)" |

The models are there… Mastered, cast, based and painted. I went in a sculpting commissions kick and I paid $148 USD, flat, for 100 production casts, including shipping. I've never understood why they do this. The things are done. Just sell them already. |
Gunner Dunbar | 27 Jul 2019 1:51 p.m. PST |
So you have 100 of these already? Dang, didn't even realise they had a kick starter. |
