link Victrix have just put up on face Book images of the second Viking figure render. link The full set will comprise 8 (differently posed) bodies on the main warrior frame. Half will be unarmoured and half armoured with lots of head and arm options. The Command frame will have leaders, champions, standard bearers, Musicians etc… and we hope to h=get 6 figures on that frame with lots of options for those figures also. Please note the design on the shield in the render is simply a texture for rendering purposes and not sculpted on detail. The shields will be flat for painting or transfers. You can find more updates as they come on the Victrix Face Book page. facebook.com/victrixlimited |

It would be great if these sets contain options to pose the figures with upright spears. The athletic poses that everyone seems to do their dark age figures in are fine for Saga, where everyone is just grouped into a gaggle, but make ranking up your figures for other games a massive inconvenience. |

I concur with the comments above – they look nice but the poses are too animated to fit well in shield wall. |

I like them. A box will do nicely for a SoBH/bloodeagle skirmish |

The joints are at the wrist, which is not my favorite. This makes static poses more difficult. I think it is assumed that most dark ages gamers prefer skirmish games and active poses. This may be correct. |
