Though the checker/splinter and fish-scale patterns are more detailed and took greater skill to paint, I prefer simpler schemes that are "less busy" but clean. Just a matter of personal preference. |

It's nice to see some well brush-painted vehicles, rather than all the airbrushed stuff. Very nicely done. I agree with 28mm Fanatik as well… lovely paint but too busy for my personal taste. |

To each their own of course. I think the reason I prefer more solid colors is that you can shade the tanks and make them look more three-dimensional. If you treat the entire surface area – or a good portion of it – as one giant artistic canvas it loses some of that depth and texture. |
