If your unit represent a regiment do you use the colonel Standard or Regiment Standard for Austrians and for the Prussians do you use the Colonel Standard or Squadron Standard?

It might be a stupid question for you but I admit I am stupid about this.

I tend to try and keep the proportions of Colonels' and regimental colours about right in my army, so for every four or five regimental colours, I will include one Colonel's colour.

My regiments carry both, like they did IRL.

I use a colonels colour now and again, as I think it adds a little variety.

I use both in squadrons of 12 figures so each sqd gets its own standard, one of which is the colonel's standard.
