Because of financial stuff, the Pegasus Bridge movie is partly on ice. In the meantime, they plan on making a 10 part miniseries Paratrooper, where each episode will follow a different British paratrooper. They are now working on a pilot for the series. All extras will be living history people, they will film in Britain and Europe. link |

Sounds interesting, however, without a decent budget it will just turn into a 're-enactor fest. Already they're saying "extras will be living history people" 30 years older and 10 stone heavier than WW2 Airborne soldiers. Without the cash to hire actors and kit it just looks daft. |

That's a shame. I recall a similar situation just a few years back with the film "No Better Place To Die" based around the D-Day battle at Le Fiere. They too got started and the money ran out and that was the end. |

That sucks. I would have loved to have seen the La Fiere Bridge fight on film… |

He made it clear he was only after actors/extras between the age of 17 and 26 |

Apologies, I didn't bother watching the video longer than a few seconds first time round. I just read living history in your post. |
