Trying to see if there's a version of Darklands that will play on current machines (Vista,7,8,10.) Found a website that says it has a version compatible for sale. Site is:gog.com They have a bunch of RPGs. Anyone know anything about the site? Dealt with them? Recommendations? Thanks Tom

I've purchased from gog.com several times. I've never had any problems with them at all.

I love GOG! I've been getting games from them since they were a new company. Never a problem. It's nice to get some of my old games back and actually have them work on Win10. A+. My son also gets games from them. They run some nice sales, and do deals with Humble Bundle.

I only have a few games but GOG games work fine on my win 7 system.

I bought it on Steam a few years back and it worked fine on my vista/7 laptop.
I had not played it since the early 90s and loved it so much back then.

I use GOG almost exclusively. I've never had a problem. They have incredible sales sometimes.

GOG is solid.
The only problem I can have with GOG is that all the reviews of older games are quite nostalgically tinted so the ratings are often higher than they deserve. But that is a problem with the reviewers, not GOG itself.

GOG is a legit site and I've bought a number of games from them. All of them work on my win10 machine but check the description of any game you want to buy since some do not say they work on win10.
