This past week, I had the pleasure of trying out the SAGA 2 rules and playing in a gladiator match of Jugulator. A fine time was had by all, and I'm very impressed with the updated SAGA rules. For more pics and AAR, go to the blog: link

Nice report and photos, thanks for sharing. Your initial impressions of Saga 2 are much the same as mine. It felt more streamlined than 1st edition and in my game I had more time to work out what to do on my battle board rather than looking up rules (not that it helped me much!). 2nd edition could be the spark to rekindle my interest in Saga… |

Glad to see Saga 2 works Wish they would focus on the Roman empire with their source books but I understand getting out the stuff everyone has figures for first. How often does the group get together in Newport News? Joe |
