The old one from 1978 by Zimmerman. Anyone have a decent copy for a sane price? |

Wonder why you didnt want the last, 5th edition, 1982? There was also a 1984 edition, also described as 5th edition. Anyone know if this was just a reprint of the 82 edition? |

Don't wonder; it'll just drive you mad.;) I didnt ask for the 1982 version because I am an idiot and got the copyright date wrong. |

I have the 1979 revised and expanded edition. I never played this rule set as I couldn't find what sloped armor did. |

Mobius, From the rules under Vehicle & Weapon Capability Tables: "When available, sloped armor has been used to show actual armor thickness." Does it do a good job of that? Not according to many :) Also quality of armor doesnt really seem to have been factored in. |
jdginaz | 01 Jun 2018 1:52 p.m. PST |
The problem with figuring armor slope into stats is that it changes depending on how the combatants are situated in relation to each other. |
Mobius | 02 Jun 2018 10:48 a.m. PST |
@jdginaz So does vertical armor. |
