Some folk this I need help full stop :-). However I am having trouble finding good reference material to sculpt even my basic 10 figures. Has anybody got a link that shows real troops in wargames poses, that is in the same pose from several different angles. When you are not an artist, (me) it's hard to create credible poses. While I have squirmed in the floor it hard to see what shape I am in and if the pose is credible militarily except as a dead body :-) ARRRGH- the bug strikes! |

Give a friend a cardboard cutout of a generic assault rifle (or plastic squirt gun/toy)and pose him. Take pictures from all angles |

Visit a reenactor group and have some of them do as dragon6 suggests. They should have proper gear and know what poses make sense. Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |

Running at Port Arms, crouching, kneeing, prone … etc. Like these from CinC 6mm Sci-fi troops in painted up. … The only pose I don't really like is Shoulder Arms.
