How frequently do you host miniature wargames in your home?

One a month or more.

Never – play at the local gaming store.

Twice a fortnight.

Once a month.

At least 4 a month.

Once or twice a month.

Weekly, I'm the one with the terrain.

Aim for once a month but the yearly average is eight or nine games. This includes designing the scenario, writing up the scenario, painting required miniatures as needed, maybe some special terrain pieces, play the scenario with friends, then write up the AAR to post on my blog.

I go to a club mostly, and occasionally other folks' houses.

Twice a month on average

No one wants to drive out to my home… I live on the far West Side, and all my friends are East or South.

Probably about 10 a year at the moment but I'm hoping that will increase once some jobs are out of the way.

Never – I play at a wargames club.

About once a month maybe less. My friend has a better game room so we go there.

Never, my house is too small. I play at a friend's and at a club.

I shoot for every other week when I am at home. That results in about 17 a year. But this year has been bad. Only 3-4 all year.

Aim for every Friday, plus bank holiday weekend games.

Don't achieve it, due to the players' other commitments. But that's the aim

No room. But I do host games at my church's Fellowship Hall.

Never, there's no place to put a game table.

Neither have I ,Mark;same reasons.

Not as often as I'd like. Currently, maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

Same as Ragbones. I have a 5' x 9' Ping Pong Table at my house, as well as a custom built gaming table, with a game well, same size, at my business partner's shop. We've been gaming on that lately, to playtest it for feedback.

This year, I've averaged 5 games in as many months, so this is a great year! One per month, thus far, hoping to keep it up, but I doubt that will happen as the Summer will be very busy. I normally manage around 4-6 miniatures games per year (probably the same number of RPG sessions, on top of that -- far fewer than I would like, for both game types!). Cheers!

Except for solo, it's been more than ten years. On the other hand, about seven times a year I bring a game to a friend's house--board, all terrain, all troops, rules, scenario, rulers, tapes and dice.

He buys pizza afterward.

I actually love to host. Usually about 1-2 a month if I am able to square it with other life demands.

I used to host a buddy from my club a few times a year, but recently he had an addition to his family and that ended that. At least until the kids are old enough to come along!

Now if solo counts (and I´m sure it doesn´t), there´s usually a game in progress on my table.

Never. I don't have enough space. I run games at one to three conventions a year.

Once a week, 90% of the time I provide the games/scenarios/armies of both sides too.

I attend a club most weeks, and do solo at home occasionally!
