I just wanted to post these to show what I believe to be sort of the minimum-sized forest height you'd need to represent a kind of tall pine tree forest for a 32mm game like Star Wars Legion.

To really represent properly tall trees that would reflect a much larger forest in height than the typical kind of forests and woods used in many 28mm games, I felt that I had to make some trees that were at least several times the height of the AT-ST walker and many, many times the height of the 32mm troopers.

These terrain pieces are about 12"-18" in height, varying betweeen the heights of the trees. These trees in 32mm scale would vary from 50 feet up to 100 feet in height The tree trunks are dowels ranging in diameter of 1/8" to 1/2" and I think a few 5/8" dowels as well. In 32mm scale these would be tree trunks that are at least good six feet around and up to eight or ten feet around or more.

For me, I had to build some terrain of this size to truly get a feel in 32mm of an environment on a heavily wooded rain forest or some other kind of forested planet.
