I'm just now getting into sci-fi miniatures. I'll be using one of the THW 5150 variants. I want to do this in 28mm.

I'm looking for actual names for my scenery. In other words, I don't want to just build some generic structure I want to be a specific "thing" that is operational in the game world.

Is there a list of buildings as to what they do, etc in a sci-fi world?

I think I'd start with a Klingon Dictionary, then start reading some science fiction at a tech level similar to your miniatures rules.

@Robert
What! Start with a Klingon dictionary? What are you doing to the poor guy? :)

@Brian
Would something like this help?

You can also look up Arctic (or Antarctic) Research Station Layout and see what comes up.
