Remembering Marx WOW Figures

If you were a kid in the 1960s who loved history and toy soldiers, you probably had a WOW figure!

Pretty much the title, honestly. I'm looking for some Wild West buildings that are preferably as cheap as possible. I don't much care if they're super high quality as long as they are 28mm and they look more or less correct

I'd go to Wargames Vault, print out their PDFs and build with foamcore.

About the cheapest (apart from scratch-building) would be card models. I've used Fat Dragon's "Rio Draco" kit myself: link , though I believe that "Whitewash City" is also popular: erichotz.com/whitewash.html

Obviously you'll have print costs as well as the price of the initial kit, but that's still going to be much less expensive than MDF, resin or the like.

Also in cardstock, have a look at Finger and Toe Old West range and also Buffalo Chip by TVAG.

In resin, Hovels do some nice models.

I have some of the TT Combat mdf buildings which are pretty good for the price. Don't know about availability in the US though… link

I've been curious about these Plast Craft buildings as they're less than $5.00 USD each and there are six different styles. I have no experience with them however.

They are unpainted

I did one a while back and for the price it is good. I scribed wood texture into the walls added some tissues for a tarpaper roof. Did not spend a lot of time on it but it came out very useable

whitewash city is the way to go. my entire town cost me less than what a couple of large laser cut buldings run. freed me up to waste money on my 150 or so western figures.

Another vote for Whitewash City

Militia Pete: Sorry about Arnica being on such a long hiatus. Maybe we can get production back up the Autumn.
