Anyone able to give a opinion on these rules, particularly a compare/contrast against the like of Force on Force and No End in Sight?

I am looking to use them for asymmetrical games in 20 and 28mm such as Vietnam, Russians in Afghanistan, African Bush Wars and Second Gulf War with perhaps 30-40 figures per side + a couple of vehicles.

Thanks

I don't think these rule sets are equivalent. Fof is squad based actions vs Neis is individual.

I have both and ran FoF once, it ran well for 54mm but felt a little too abstracted for my taste, I want to know what each member of the fireteam is doing, in FoF you just add up all their weapons when firing into one roll.

I plan on using No End in Sight in future, it just seems to have the feel I want, those individual dashes across open terrain and the ability for individuals to cover approaches. More of an RPG feel.

One rule I plan on adapting from FoF tho is the helicopter ambient fire rule and also planning on taking the indirect and spotting fire rules from Twilight 2000. So I guess my perfect game is a hybrid of No End in Sight as the base with other specialised mechanics for certain elements rotated in.

I guess this mix will change more and more as I play games, but I think No End in Sight will remain as my base rules, they're just cool.
