Not bad. I have 3 Skybow/AFV Club Tigers in 1/48 airbrushed just like these but numbered 205, 221 and 222. |

Those look ok…you can tell the difference of size…are they supposed to be 1:56 scale? I bet you paid less for the 1:48 Tiger than what you can buy a Warlord one for…I know I beat the prices when I go eBaying or Amazon for my 1:48 scale tanks. P. |

Warlord list their tanks as 1:56. The differences may be due to casting issues with resin, or simply better sculpting methods on the plastic version. I don't know about prices on E-Bay, but the plastic kits are pretty reasonably priced. Scale depends on the rest of your models. 1:48 scale models look huge next to 1:56 scale ones, so I wouldn't want to mix the 2 scales. |

Is it only me that finds both of those a bit underwhelming? Given the scale I'd expect a bit more. Back in the day 1/48th stuff was a serious rival to 1/35th scale, these look no better than some 15mm scale ones. Then again I just dont understand the whole 28mm thing, so much of it is just plain ugly/technically ropey and pricey. Must sell though! L |

Here are my 1/48 "Wittmann's Tigers." All plastic, tracks are resin because I don't like the "rubber band" vinyl ones that came with the kits. 205 (Wittmann), 221 (Hantusch) and 222 (Sowa) all participated in the Battle of Villers Bocage.
