Over the years, I have used match sticks I get from Hobby Lobby to build a little Russian Village to grace my 15mm Napoleonic battlefields. Depending on how I set up the battlefield, I sometimes use only a few buildings; other times just a single building.

Certainly not the most skilled work, but I do get a certain satisfaction that it's something I fabricated for myself and I want to show it to you. The village Orthodox church was just completed.

Thanks for looking at my little scratch built Russian Village.

God bless,

Looks like it's very burnable as my victorious French (or Germans!) sweep thru the Motherland!

Very nice work John!

Great, looks pretty much like the " living history" types I saw.
If you play very tactical games, space them with fences, gardens. Unless into an early enclosed fortified zone.

Friends, more photos of my little Russian Village in the midst of a battle.

I'm currently fighting a 15mm solo fictional corp size battle, "The Battle of St. Gudev," using the 'General de Brigade, Deluxe Edition' rules. The Russian Village is being contested and it appears, at this point on Turn 13, the French are clearing the Russian infantry from the village.

Thanks for looking at my fight for the Russian Village.

God bless,
