I bought a few ships from War Time Journal, to complete my collections built around Coronel / the falklands and the RJW campaign of Port Arthur. While I like GHQ minis better, I have to confess that WTJ's are nearly as good, and perhaps more faithful to the original as details are not oversized. At any rate, since the ships come in a single part and no assembly is required (unless you want, like me, to kitbash masts), il well be less taxing on my aging fingers (no gluing secondary guns, phew – grin -)
Without more ado, here they come. Let's start with the Royal Navy
Canopus
Inflexible
Invincible
Otranto (which was an auxiliary cruiser)
Now the Far East Squadron with SMS Nuremberg (remainder are GHQ minis, previously painted)
Fast backward to the Russo-Japanese war, first 3 Russian cruisers
Bayan
Boyarin
And Varyag, the hero of Chemulpo
Their Japanese opponents,
Battleship Yashima
Battleship Hatsuse
Cruiser Nisshin
Cruiser Chitose
Cruiser Takasago
