Anyone play this game from Great Escape Games? It's real simple but looks like it could provide a quick and fast hour or two of fun. The real dynamic seems to come from the 'activation' system where you have to roll to activate units and the other player can attempt to interrupt your move with his own activation. It's full of 'simple game weirdnesses' but looks like it can be played on a small, maybe 4x3 table doing simple actions, like taking a farm or hill.

My local group played it when it first came out. It's a pretty interesting set of rules.

Yes we play it. I like it. As you say the activation rules are the core of the system. You can play quite large actions as a squad is treated as a single entity. The main lack is any sort of troop quality, so it would be impossible to run a small, high quality force against a larger, poor opponent. It would be easy to add and I have been tinkering with some ideas to achieve it.
