My son is currently at Singleton training; he went into Newcastle for the day and saw Frontline Hobbies but did not have a chance to go in. He told me that looking through the window it looked pretty promising though.

He has an interest in historical gaming, is there likely to be much in there for him or is it more models, railroads etc.?

cheers
Jon.

Lots of mainstream plastic stuff 1/35, 1/48, 1/72 scale.
Nothing wrong with the railway stuff, you need scenery.
Plenty of different groups fossicked around here, ask your on to check out Novocastrian Battlegamers on Facebook, they may be able to help with links to local groups.

They have a web page & online shop. That should give you an idea of what they deal in.
