The model is well executed and makes a fine piece, but the bow is wrong in its display of the curvature. That curve was created by erosion during its long internment in the sea. The original configuration was vertically straight.
That's not the modeler's fault; there are updated renderings that have corrected this flaw.

Also, it is not the CSS, as it was never formally purchased by the Confederate government.
