Bugs Bunny. My favourite and my father's. It was even the nose art on the 1st regular Lancaster bomber he was a crew on. Bugs Bunny with a bomb under his arm. Would love to find a picture of it, but no luck so far. |

I'm with Patrick R. Tex Avery was the best IMHO. Droopy cartoons still crack me up. Gotta love Spike! Also liked Johnny Quest. |

The recent poll was more recent 'adult' cartoons. Stuff like Family Guy. I thought the old kids stuff deserved a go as well! |

I quite enjoy all the old Loony Tunes stuff: Bugs, Roadrunner, anything with the Tasmanian Devil… George of the Jungle and Super Chicken were also great, but I haven't seen either in decades. Old Popeye was great. Finally, while he's far more recent than the OP was intending, I have an abiding love for Thundarr! By far my favourite cartoon growing up. |

Popeye Tex Avery, especially Droopy Bugs Bunny Old Terrytoons from the 1920s: Silent, BW with characters like Farmer Al Falfa. Tom and Jerry Really early Schlesinger/Warner Brothers stuff, including the first Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck (truly daffy!) and Porky Pig. Early Beavis and Butthead episodes I know I'll think of more! |
Winston Smith | 06 May 2018 6:58 p.m. PST |
Betty Boop, especially when she's being naughty. |

Only one vote (besides mine) for Tom Terrific? Of course, his sidekick Mighty Manfred (oomph!) the Wonder Dog was really the star but still. Clutch Cargo Space Angel Bugs Bunny, especially the WWII-vintage cartoons Crusader Rabbit and Rags the Tiger Dudley Do-Right Pinky and the Brain – probably too recent to be considered "classic" LT |
