I thought I would share with TMP membership a new, custom Gaming Table about to become available on the market. This is the higher end model, the Konig, or, "King".

Here are some teaser images for you:

Konig Table 1

Konig Table 2

Konig Table 3

Konig Table 4

The prototype table shown, is 5-feet by 9-feet, solid Hickory construction (Hickory is 10 times stronger than Oak…). It has a 4-inch deep gaming well. The flat top leaves are stained Gunstock, while the remainder of the table is covered in clear varnish.

The full web site should be up within 3-4 weeks, if not sooner. Cheers!

Looks very nice. What sort of price range are we talking about? What about shipping?

The price of the 9-foot by 5-foot Table, as shown, with a fixed height base, is $5,000 USD; shipping is by freight truck, and should max out around $500 USD for either Coast of the USA (we're in Minnesota). We will deliver and set it up, for customers within 150 miles of Rochester, MN.

Hickory will take any stain color of your choice. We can stain just the leaves, or the entire Table can be stained a single color. All at no extra charge. The entire Table will receive five coats of clear, outdoor quality, varnish.

All Tables have an optional, Electronic Lift System base: at the touch of a button, your Table can be raised up to 60 inches (allows easy access to the base, where the leaves are stored when not in use), or lowered to 28 inches. The lift computer has two memory positions which you can program: at the touch of a button, it will move to a comfortable standing position height, and at the touch of another button, it will move to a comfortable seated height. These are programmable by you. If you need a different height, just press the up or down button, and watch the digital readout, until you reach the desired height.

Smaller Tables only require two legs for their lift system; larger Tables will require four, or more, legs, depending upon the total size of the Table. For the pictured, 9-foot by 5-foot, Konig Table, this adds $2,000 USD to the cost. This Table sells for $7,000 USD + shipping (max around $500 USD), with the four-leg Lift System installed.

We offer clear acrylic overlays for each drawer, which allows maps, or record sheets, to be placed beneath. You may then mark the acrylic sheets with wet-erase pens, to track movement, ammunition, Hit Points, etc. When the game is over, just clean the marks off with a wet paper towel.

We also offer a simpler Gaming Table, the Prinz. The Prinz Table is customizable in size. We have one prototype built to a 3-foot by 5-foot size:

As pictured, the fixed leg Prinz Table, 3-foot by 5-foot, sells for $1,000 USD + Shipping (max of $500 USD).

The game wells on both models of Tables have a recess which allows the game mats to be inserted beneath the wall, by 1/8 inch on each side, creating a seamless, custom-fit appearance. To replace the gaming surface with a different one, just pull the mat material away from the side, and then remove the whole mat.

The photo's show a professionally made, Ice Planet Hoth, game mat, with Star Wars mini's engaged in silent battle over the planet's surface.

All Tables come with a pattern-less piece of indoor/outdoor carpet which spans the Gaming Well from edge to edge, seamlessly. Colors available are: dark green, for grassland; tan for desert, or cavern terrain; blue for water; and black, for space games. Let us know your preference.

Thank you. Cheers!

I will see about porting the photos to imgur.com. Been intending to do that with other images, as well. Thanks for letting me know they were't showing up for you. Cheers!

$5,500 USD for agaming table?🤓😳😳😳😳😳😳🙀

I understand it is a large amount of money. I would suggest that you compare its price to similar hardwood dining room tables. These tables are made of solid Hickory. The only parts which are not Hickory, are the plywood gaming well deck, and the Poplar wood forming the under-structure of the gaming well; the Poplar has supported a 200-pound man, more than once, though we do not recommend it.

Hickory is one of the strongest, and one of the hardest, domestic woods: 10 times stronger than Oak, with a hardness rating of more than 1,800, where Oak is only 1,500.

Quality costs, but it also lasts. These tables will outlive their owners, by a long margin. Your grandchildren will likely be playing on your table, when they are old, and introducing their grandchildren to tabletop gaming…

Further, I would suggest comparing our price to similar gaming tables, if you can find any with equal features. Our tables are built by a master carpenter, not a CNC machine churning out tables like a cookie cutter. They are not mass produced, but built to order, per the customer's specifications. No other gaming table offers our type of pull-out drawers, nor do they offer the option of an adjustable height base -- once you see that in action, you will want to save up for it, if necessary. It is wonderful. Cheers!
