Operation FS was the name given by the Japanese during World War II for an operation to isolate Australia by invading Fiji, Samoa, and New Caledonia. The inability to take Port Moresby and the carrier losses at Midway meant that the operation would never be executed.

That's about all I know of Operation FS. I think it would make a nice hypothetical scenario/campaign, but I can't find any information about planned OOBs. Any ideas?

My apologies for double posting.

Part of the problem is there are no OBs. The IJA didn't want to get extended further into the Pacific. They knew, even if the IJN did't, that Japan didn't have the logistics to support actions that far away.
