No, but if the quality and quanity of games available now where available "back in the day" it may have been an issue. |

I think quality can get lost in quantity, but 'worried'? No. I won't buy them. |

Oh Zardoz, no. What is more a problem is that too many are one and done. If you miss the release you may never see a copy |

No! Bring it on publishers. I Have some room left to pack them in. |

It's definitely a good problem to have. This is being discussed quite often in the board war-game world where many new games aren't even getting played twice, let alone once! The number of quality products coming out for both miniature and board war-games is certainly unprecedented, but it's getting harder to find someone who has the same interest in a set of rules or a game as you do as the hobby is getting spread thin. |

No, that means there are more offerings in the slice of the pie that I enjoy. I also cut my teeth on boardgaming when SPI was in its heyday which was great, there were always some in the mix that I enjoyed. And there were slim pickings for miniatures games, none of which I enjoyed. Bigger pies are better pies! : 3 |

I am happy that all of these companies have the resources, marketing, and distribution to produce all this new stuff. I hope they make butloads of money and can retire comfortably. I just love all these choices! |

I don't have time to keep up with it all, so I don't worry bout it. I do agree with aegiscg47. Now new editions of games and rules I already own, in particular where a large cash outlay is required to keep up, that is concerning, nothing new I suppose, but that's what gets me. Looking at you FFG – X-Wing. |

Sounds like you have too many choices. And then they fold because they did not do enough research and not enough people are interested in what they have to offer? Maybe the government or (insert name of favorite authority) can help simplify the choices for us all! :) Dan |

I would only worry if I had a compulsion to collect and play every set of rules ever published. I don't. |

The only problem with the large number of games being released is…loss of focus. At our club we often see ancients gamers with bases of figures on plain sabot bases to allow playing of another different system, with different basing. Long gone are the standardised basing to WRG rules!!! |
