Hello everyone,

Where to find valid battles orders for the two Sikh wars ?

Thank you

MajorB03 May 2018 12:38 p.m. PST

Um … you mean orders of battle?

Andrew Preziosi has prepared OBs for the two Anglo-Sikh wars (as well as many other colonial wars), and they are available from Patrick Wilson, the Virtual Armchair General, here:

Andrew has also written the complete guide to those wars-The Sikh Wars Sourcebook-the publication of which is eagerly awaited by many of us. Either Andrew or one of the other usual suspects will announce the availability of his book once it is published.

What are his sources?

And for the 25/30 mm figurines, it's only Od Glory?

I have found – after many readings – that these two manpower s: HM 16th Lancers counted 530 men at the battle of Aliwal and HM 24 th had 960 men at the battle of Chillianwallah!

Nobody knows any others?

Wargames Foundry have a 25mm range, Studio Miniatures in 28mm.

Another recommendation for the Preziosi orbats. They'll be as accurate as you'll find anywhere – until the much-delayed Sourcebook is finally released.

They give the manpower of the regiments in the Preziosi orbats ?

And the Old Glory range ..?

Anyone know if there is what I'm looking for in this new book?

Because, I will not buy books without knowing exactly what's inside.
