Looking on the Lardie site (posted there too) to see if there are any army lists for Germans and Americans for 42-43 and I don't see anything. Is that because there aren't any or am I blind? :) Thanks |

For US in Africa look here, US infantry Platoon: link Some German early Italy further down page. I'm sure you'll get the information you need on the Lardie forum. |

If you are blind, then so am I. I see no force listings for Germany, DAK, 42-43. And I see no force listing for US forces in late 42 (Torch) and 43. And the force listings in the rulebook are more aimed at Normandy and beyond. The mid-war period is lacking army lists. |

There ae a number of member made lists on both the TFL Forum and Yahoo page. A few for mid-war i.e. above. There are also three Pint -Sized campaigns for 42-43 Russia as well as some mid-war CoC in several specials. |

In truth there are no such things as Chain of Command "army lists", there are however plenty of lists of platoon structures and composition based on historical structure. The lists in the rule book, as with the gamer lists, weren't made up by anybody, they were created after researching actual historical structure. Most of these sources are in the public domain, in books or online. Really, all you have to do is locate one of these and there's your "army list". You play the period, not the rules and all the information you need already exists. For convenience the Lardies and others have compiled some lists, as you can see from above, but they are not the only lists, find the historical unit structure for the nationality and theatre of your choice and away you go. You won't be wrong. |
