…Dragoon type crested helmets wear dark blue coats? I got these in a collection of painted units and can't figure out hat unit they are, or if they are just painted incorrectly.

I think that I solved the mystery. The coats are painted such a dark green that I thought that they were dark blue earlier today. Now under a very strong desk lamp I can see that they are a very dark green.

From 30 August 1815 (Old Style), the Gendarme regiment (Жандармскiй полкъ / Zhandarmskiy polk) wore dragoon uniforms with mid-blue coats.
