This clarifies questions about suitability for WSS and the wider European theatre. The choice of Ireland in the 1690s as a theme for the book is primarily to give a neglected theatre some air time but the rules are focused where they have always been – continental Europe.

The table featured in the video is a 1672 game of Dutch v French

An excellent review but it does not inspire me to move on from 2nd edition.
