Folks,
I am looking for some suggestions on reading about the Associators specifically of PA. I may (please!!!) have an ancestor that served with them.

Same book I suggested. It's very good.

The Company of Military Historians has a uniform plate on them. It is also one of the plates in their book for the AWI period.
