Try again….

Packing all my stuff to get ready to sell our house and I am astounded at the volume my 28mm terrain takes up, even can mpared to the figures. With all of the availability, I am tempted to down scale to 15mm. Between Blue Moon and Rebel Minis I should be able to do all the Pulp and Victorian adventure gaming I want with probably 30% of the storage space.

Has anyone else done this?

How do Blue Moon and Rebel minis mix?

I love my Bob March figures but the terrain storage is killing me!

Thoughts?

My mates and I thought about doing this when we first started Pulp gaming, but we decided that you don't get the same sense of character with 15mm figures.

However, I've just started to do fantasy skirmish with my boys and we are going 15mm for the reasons you mention above. Partly too, I think there are quite clear distinctions between the various (stereo)types of fantasy characters, which are still easy to see in 15mm.

Hope someone's able to help you with your technical question once they wade past the bug!

If the consistant sells of our blue Moon 15/18 mm pulp and horror lines are any indication it would suggest a good many do.

I'm doing my Pulp in 15 because I can use my early WW2 stuff. And, its a lot easier to find HO-scale model railroad buildings than something that will work with 28mm.

Cheaper and easier to pack, too!

not my normal scale but I could see the appeal of being able to use AQOTMF stuff as well

Think I need to update the Hammerhead page on the Lost Minis WIKI…..a lot of empty spaces!

Good to see that there are options. Believe it or not my wife has talked me out of ditching my 28mm stuff, she loves my Doc Savage / Hercule Poirot games…

Just packing frustration, hopefully this is the last time I move everything, and it is easier than last time. I have jettisoned a lot of excess stuff over the last 5 years.
