Hello All,

I am looking for suitable 15mm figures to represent the Woodland Elves for the Battle of five Armies.

My basic assumption is that Middle Earth is a Dark Age setting and despite being "Wood Elves" the Sindar would not enter battle under equipped.

I imagine at least a front rank of mail (not plate!) equipped spearmen in the Elven ranks. I am looking for Oathmark style Elves but in 15mm.

I know of Battle Valor, which appears closest to the mark.

Mirliton has some lighter equipped elves.

Splintered Light has their heavy Elf infantry. But I would still like mail armor vs a plate armor.

Any range that would fit my desired look? let me know

Thanks

Have you seen Eureka's?

PS. That first photo reminds me of Norman's in hauberks, but with long hair (a very easy add-on).

Hello CC,

I have seen that line. The Eureka fantasy line is very much 18mm. At least judging from the dwarves I purchased.

The Battle Valor I have seen are all "big 15s" too.

I have Battle Valor as well (well I am a mini hoarder)

Battle Valor is beefy and would be a tall 15mm dude. I have humans and Dwarfs from them.

Eureka Dwarves were clearly a scale shift.

All Excellent sculpts mind you.

As always best if you can stick to one manufacturer for all your needs.

Does anyone have detailed pictures of Demonworld Wood Elves heavy Infantry

thanks

Alternative Armies does a nice elf line. I never bought any, but I have some of their other fantasy figures & liked them. Might be worth a look…

You might consider the PP range. Has lots in it!

Black Raven Foundry makes 15mm Wood Elves and High Elves, but I can't recall if any are mail armoured.
