My 28mm ACW project for 2018: After finishing my Union Division (1st Division, VI Corps at Gettysburg) I switched focus to the Cofederate side. I am working on Gordon's Georgia Brigade (Gettysburg) – here are some finished units and those who still need basing done. I painted up 90+ infantry and gunners so far in April My plan is to finish up the brigade, then switch back to the VI Corps 2nd Division. I plan to have the Corps done by summer and at least 2 Southern brigades. In August Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club will hold its summer Muster where we plan to play a big Fire&Fury Regimental game. The majority of the collection is Old Glory and Sash & Saber 28mm:
Some pictures from today's workbench – just over 90 figures ready for basing. I completed a number of these while traveling – good use of early morning hours in the hotel room!!

Very Nice! Love those Georgia boys! John Brown Gordon; link When John Brown Gordon died in 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt said of him, "A more gallant, generous, and fearless gentleman and soldier has not been seen by our country." |

Nice Skip – thanks for the link. My connection / draw to Gordon is because as retired Army Signal Corps I did all my training at Fort Gordon GA – what better way to build a Confederate force to fight my Union troops. Next up is a Union Zuoave regiment!!! |

Gordon… I think the only other commander that left more of himself on the battlefields was Hood… |

Great work! Isn't delayed gratification a wonderful thing? |
