Good back stories, Murph. And nice looking figures, if that's the correct adjective to use with the Back Alley Boys. Jim |

Who would think such fine looking young men could be up to anything. Nice work. |

Good job Murph! Being a long time fan of the East Side kids, Little Tough Guys and Dead End Kids flicks, I enjoyed the bios, but you forgot Ernest Bushwick who played Quentin "Orvy" Orville, the rich boy adopted by the gang during the film "Flying Trouble Makers". Bushwick was in three entries of the "Back Alley Boys" series, before they ran out of ways to squeeze him into the plots, and left to continue his education. He later became a dentist, and practiced in Long Beach, California before passing away in 1990. |

The Shadow: There are *ahem* "reasons why" we really don't talk about the character of "Orvy" (or Ernest himself for that matter), much when it comes to The Back Alley Boys. There were always some "rumors" and "whispers" going around the set about Ernest, and many of them weren't too favorable. Leo Hall once said that Ernest gave him the "Heebie-Jeebies", due to how he would "look at you". |
