I have an excellent book on WW II American Uniforms:

Does anyone know of a similar book covering the WW I Dough-boy?

I do like the contemporary actors and the layout of the book, nice clear color pictures, and would love a similar book for WW I.

Thanks!

This is probably the most comprehensive:

I always like the approach of using period photos as well as modern shots of uniforms and equipment. Reenactor photos can be useful if done correctly.

Read some of the reviews, they'll give a good idea of strengths and weaknesses. Unless you're going to be a serious AEF collector or student it will probably have everything you need in spades, and whatever errors or omissions are there won't matter.

Thank you so much. Looks like exactly what I was looking for! You have to love the folks on TMP.
