I used to play Armies of Arcana (AoA) and want to get back into it. I have the books but can't seem to find the unit builder which helped you calculate the cost of individual units. This was useful when trying to create new units for an army. Are there any web links for this? Many Thanks! D

The points calculator is in the pages preceding the army lists. You get the point value of in individual model, then multiply that by the number of models you want in a unit. I think people were running fairly large units due to the moral modifier, so 40+ models in most of our games.
I do not know of any online resources for the game.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help but what I am looking for is the points generator for creating new units. Thanes Games had it on their website but I was hoping there was some online resource out there. You confirmed it for me that there isn't any. Again, many thanks.

Thane's old site is available via the Wayback machine. I'm at work and do not have the link. I'll check when I get home.

John, awesome. I have just gotten rid of most of 15mm and am converting to 10mm Fantasy and there are some new units I want to create. AoA is a great game. Many Thanks.

I tried Wayback myself and but it wasn't on the site. I did find an avid AoA gamer's site and they had the file. Thanks again.
