Here we have an officer of the 71 ST Highlanders guiding his men
into the charge at Cowpens. Due to the narrow battlefield, the 71 ST collided with the 7 TH Regiment and were forced to move in an oblique. This officer is attempting to correct the situation by leading his troops away from the woods and into the open field.
