Here we have an officer of the 71 ST Highlanders guiding his men into the charge at Cowpens. Due to the narrow battlefield, the 71 ST collided with the 7 TH Regiment and were forced to move in an oblique. This officer is attempting to correct the situation by leading his troops away from the woods and into the open field. Figure by Kings Mountain Miniatures. Painted by Giles Allison (who?)
