He painted and based them in three days (quote)…. Retch. I would spend three days just researching the uniforms, as I can never quite work out (or maybe I mean cannot remember) which were in green and which in Netherlands' blue. Then there are the lads in the Colpack style bearskin, Grenadiers? Hgmnt?? Then some of them had white shako covers which, the story goes, marked them out on The Big Day……. Nassau baffles me. I still think it is the Bahamas anyway….. The Green figures are truly superb. The highlights! The Blue figures I'll be honest…bog standard Low Countries nicely done of course…. |
