Looking for something in the 8x5 or 8x6 range that fills up a convention table. I love my Cigar Box mat, but they only go up 6x4 from what I've seen.

Are there any US manufacturers or suppliers in this size? I'm looking for grasslands/fields.

This is something I'm also looking for. So far I've only found UK makers.

They are easy to make on your own. I have made several using outdoor carpeting called "Eco-Rug" it comes in 6x8 foot rolls and is about $20 USD link

Easily painted with spray-paint or by drybrushing with latex house paint

I am quite pleased with the results

Wish this was available in the UK!

Elenderil, I think you can check the post "Battle mat from Lidl" in Terrain and Scenics….it seems that Aldi carries it

Hi TSD,

I went through this awhile ago myself and could find nothing. unless something has changed, you're only options are to buy multiple commercial mats and just put them together or make your own.

Anton Ryzbak will not steer you wrong with his guidance.

I went with the caulk, paint, and flock route as outlined here:

I did some research and came across link that claims Lowes has ones with seams but Home Depot for the most part does not. Can anyone confirm this if I go this route?

Yes, Hotz Mats without hexes go up to 6' x 8', and they will do custom work.

Can do custom sizes even with custom designs.
Not US though.
Ivan the designer in Moscow can do any size that then you can print in the US.

Just got the Gardenline artificial grass mat from ALDI here in the UK.

1 x 2 metres. Total cost £6.99 GBP.

The grass colour is not too vivid.

I would not order anything through Hotz.

I placed an order (not a special order just regular items from the site)) on 26 Jan 2018 got an acknowledgement 28 and nothing for seven weeks despite the fact the site says delivery in 2-4 weeks.

Sent emails at the five week and six week marks. No reply.

Sent an email on 13 March (seventh week) stating that if I did have my order by 23 March that I was taking recovery action on my CC.

Received an email 23rd stating that he could not guarantee a delivery for the 23rd as he just sent it out. So, I thought OK I will wait a bit longer.

It is now 9 April, (internal canada shipping so, no customs excuse) 19 days later and I still don't have the order.

Took recovery action this afternoon. I will never deal with Hotz again. Too bad as he makes a good product.
