I'm after recommendations for pre-mixed flocks and scatter that are ready to use as I'm planning to rebase some 40mm figures and I'd like to get a slightly more professional finish than my usual painted sand in 15mm or smaller? There seem to be a number of products out there and wondered if there was anything that people swore by?

I'm searching for the same to do some re-basing. Scenic Express has a coupleof interesting ones. If you go to grass ground cover and flowers, then to flock and turf page 10 you should see alpine meadow and farm pasture. Both look good to my eye.

No pre-mixed flocks. Gotta keep the sheep and goats separate.

I liker Scenic Effects Alpine meadow.

Gailforce has a bright green 2mm static grass that looks nice though perhaps a bit too brights for realism. Still it pops on the table.

For 40 mm figures, you're going to need 10 mm and 12 mm grasses. You can mix in some 6 mm for short grass but 12 mm is going to be your mainstay.

Look at Scenic Express Wildgrasses by Noch. I buy it by the extra large sized bags and mix my own combinations.

If you're spending over 100 bucks, PM me and I'll send you a 10% off code to use. Pays for the shipping.
