I have a few townsfolk packs from Reaper already, but always looking for more fantasy/medieval civilians. In particular would like a female figure that is not a barmaid or a strumpet! What are you fav family miniatures? The Hasslefree kids are so cute and tiny, are there any more out there that are similar?

TurnKey Miniatures makes some that might meet your requirement.

Take a look at the dark ages lines from Black Tree Designs and Gripping Beast for good women and children.

Foundry makes a pack civilian commoners in their medieval range. Old Glory makes "Revolting Peasants", some of which may be of use.

I have a few kids and women from Gripping beast…I bought way too many for my needs…so if you want a few, I would trade them for just about anything you have too many of.

I'm a constant advocate of Old Glory – and often the only one it seems. Has the industry really moved on from them? I spose they are rare in the UK.

Anyways, Old Glory (30 figs for $21 USD with the Army Card – terrific buy):

Midlam Miniatures have a nice range, which I mix with Hasslefree.

I have the revolting peasant set from OG. Definitely a good buy with the army card but they do stand out when mixed with GB or HF.

When you say standout what do you mean?

Smaller?

oh wow, thanks for all the links everybody! I like those town villagers by Gripping Beast a lot. The woman with rake, and woman with bucket from Midlam are great too. Typically it seems like most lines of female mini's are either "ladies of the night" or "bar maids" but it's nice to see some simple pesants and farmers. Also love that running boy with stolen apple. Those are perfect!
