Does anyone offer the British "Twelve Long" in 15mm for use in the 2nd Boer War?

If not, how about a stand-in?

I know the 13 pounder was a rifled muzzle loader, but would it make a stand-in for the Long Twelve with the barrel shape and size, and the carriage design? There is a 13 pounder available in 15mm – perhaps it can be crewed with British naval gunners to help deliver the illusion?

Thanks, Jeff

Agree that we need to see someone make a naval 12 pdr for 15mm Boer War. Needed to get the correct look for some of the actions.

Yes, but I am not holding my breath, unless it comes from Blue Moon in 18mm!

Not many other manufacturers producing new 15mm colonial models.

Maybe a bespoke commission with Irregular…?

Nothing in Irregular's Really Useful Guns?

RUG are mostly recoil guns from early 1900s-1945, despite their descriptions. Some of the howitzers are not recoil guns from 1890s. They have no 12 pounders in RUG, although they offer a British field gun in the Colonial range that is a generic short 12 pounder.

Old Glory 15's have a naval 12 pdr on field carriage. If I remember it is in the Boxer Rebellion range

jhancock14 May 2018 7:18 p.m. PST

Was it an OG model or another of their ranges?

Thanks! Jeff

It is an OG model, it is in a mixed british/russian artillery pack. I think I have some extra's. If I have any you are more than welcome to them.

I would gladly buy what you have remaining from that artillery pack, both guns and crews, and pay shipping.

Please let me know what you have and want for them. You can contact me off list at jeffreythancock at gmail dot com.

Thank you, sir!

I have several guns and crews, I have the carriage and wheels for the long 12 but no barrel. If you email me at colinchristie81@gmail.com and give me an address, I will send the remainder to you.

Does anyone have a picture of the Old Glory 15mm 12pdr?
