For figurines of 25 to 30 mm, besides wargames foundry, what manufactures proposes artillery limbers for the French and German artillery in 1870 – 1871 ??? |

Irregular does make limbers for French and Prussian forces. Don't know what they look like as there are no pictures on the web store nor do I have any. Jim |

There is not much choice, it's odd, even with old manufactures … |

Actually not that odd. The Franco Prussian War is not a major period of interest for the vast majority of wargamers. Why? I have heard numerous reasons with the one-sided nature of the war as the main complaint. I personally love the period. So many "what ifs?" Where there is little interest manufacturers are reluctant to invest in developing "in-depth" lines. |

The players completely forget the republican period of this war and forthe imperial period they are interested only in the French army because the French uniforms have never been as beautiful as during the second empire… In any case the 28 mm limbers miss cruelly like the 4 pdrs, 7 pdrs and 8 pdrs French guns and the Bavarian mitrailleuses… |
