the late Roman army relied on very few units, using them on all theaters of operations: Africa, Rhine, Danube …
They used them in pairs. The two best of them were the
jovians and the herculians. By clicking on the links you will find a more than 150 painted figurines of this two terrible legions

Hello Dragon :
because if the western seniores where the "Us Marines or the Foreign french legion" of ancient times, whe just know basically nothing on their eastern couterparts.

In the East, the crackest unit was the Lanciarii seniores.
