Hi All -

Did I miss something and Osprey has taken over the printing of the rules for "Tour of Duty" and "Fate of a Nation?

I was trying to get "Tour of Duty" but even the battlefront site doesn't list it as a product. Did "'Nam" replace it?

Yep, and Amazon sells 'em now too.

If you want the Tour of Duty rules and not 'Nam, I might be able to scrape up a copy, including Brown Water Navy.

Hi Lion -

I might be, but I don't know what the difference is.

But, if everyone is using the Osprey book, then I should probably go with that one.

Thanks!

I saw the Osprey book at my FLGS. Very nice. Smaller page size than BF-published books but contains more pages. I wonder if BF is getting out of book publishing altogether for all their games from now on.

I'm tempted to do an Air Cavalry force for this game, but I wish BF did plastic AH-1G's instead of recycling the AH-1S from TY for this game. They did the same thing by including pics of Army AH-1S's in USMC camouflage for TY in the 'Stripes' supplement.

I think Fanatik's post just explained why I couldn't find the new book. I'd been going through the original portal.

Well, I have the new 'Nam rules now. Not entirely sure about all of the changes, especially since I've had 4 models rendered without rules! (2x Huey Frogs and 2x Heavy Cobras for Aerial Rocket Artillery)
