So I was watching an episode of blacklist. When Reddington sends in his PMCs. And right away I spotted something, that thing you can't put your finger on but you know when you see. It was in the natural moment and skill these PMCs acted. I thought, nope not actors not even stuntmen. At least some of those are pro ex military and special forces at that.

Turns out I was right. The "leader" is former marine officer and CIA operative.

Watching Christopher Lee rock an Enfield in Beyond Mombasa was a pretty huge tell that he'd had some serious experience with the platform, as well as Ian Yule in Wild Geese. Hollywood/the film industry is pretty terrible with firearms, and related material, so when folks really know what they're doing, it can stand out if you know what you're seeing.
