New Osprey title. From the Mexican Revolution to the Zarumilla War, in the first 40 years of the 20th century the nations of Central and South America were frequently disturbed by border clashes, civil wars and revolution. Many of these conflicts became known as 'Banana Wars'. 48 pages link |

I do believe I will be buying this one, looks interesting as I love offbeat little known campaigns. |

Already have some figures to skirmish some early Banana Wars. Looking forward to this. |

I'll be buying it too! Thanks Deflatermouse. Dan PS. Are there any 15mm Figures that could work for US soldiers from the 20s and 30s? TMP link |

This looks like the sort of dangerous book that will have me searching out loads of new figures. Looking forward to it. |

I played a Sandinistas vs. U.S.M.C. at Colonial Barracks a few years ago. As a result I already have my U.S.M.C. platoon painted and ready. My Spanish American War Cubans have Sandinista command figures with a flag and I am currently working on a GUARDIA NACIONAL DE NICARAGUE Platoon. You think I would be interested? |

Looks cool but seems like an awful lot of coverage for a single volume. |

Hello Cacique Caribe Eureka has Wake Island marines, Filipino infantry and sailors that are pretty handy:-
Peter Pig makes separate Montana hatted heads:-
Cheers GrumpyOldMan |

GrumpyOldMan I have most of those already, except for the Marines. I must get a few of them for sure. Are the heads for the Marines then? So with that they can pass for late 1920s and early 1930s (Interwar Period) Americans? Thanks so much Dan |

Funny I was also trying to find Marines in Lemon squeezer hats. I was looking at Boxer rebellion Marines. Spanish-American war Marines I was also looking at but will probably go with the Eureka marines and do head swaps. I have one of these. VERY happy with it and recommend it. link

Hello Cacique Caribe Yes the Montana hats could be used but the Marines especially in China wore helmet:-
Montanas were worn though:- link The best part about the marines are that they are a full range including stuff like BAR, Thompsons, Lewis guns, mortars, Browning HMG, mounted and dismounted cavalry and artillery crew :). Cheers GrumpyOldMan |
